Geryah Dingle: Indie Country-Pop Artist Blending Faith, Storytelling, and Emotional Depth
Geryah Dingle is an American singer-songwriter known for her emotive vocals, story-driven songwriting, and seamless blend of acoustic roots with modern pop-country influences. Her music explores themes of faith, family, love, and personal growth, creating a sound that resonates across both country-pop and inspirational spaces. Drawing inspiration from artists like Israel Houghton, Ellie Holcomb, and NEEDTOBREATHE, Geryah crafts songs that are both deeply personal and universally relatable.
Geryah first gained attention with her debut single “MISSIONARY” in 2021, a song that introduced her acoustic foundation and lyrical focus on faith and purpose. That same year, she released “But I Used to Be,” “Anywhere,” and “You Gotta Be,” showcasing her versatility as both a vocalist and storyteller. Her track “Walking Alone” received recognition from UTR Media for its introspective exploration of loneliness and faith, helping establish her voice in the independent music space.
Later in 2021, Geryah collaborated with Nashville producer Steve Kinney, known for his work on the Australian Country Music Top 20, to release “Starting Over.” In 2023, she recorded “For Two” at Island Sound Studios, a legendary space that has hosted artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Beyoncé. The session was engineered by Kyle Spicer, whose decades of experience helped further refine her evolving sound.
In 2022, Geryah partnered with producer VORANAH to release “Wonderer (You Stayed with Me),” a dynamic, road trip-inspired track that blends country-pop influences with expansive production and reflective storytelling. Her 2023 release “Simple Things” continued to build her catalog of uplifting, relatable music centered on gratitude and perspective.
In 2025, Geryah released “I Wish You Could Have Known Her (Grandmother),” a heartfelt pop-country tribute honoring the matriarch of her family. Blending modern country with nostalgic late-90s/early-2000s pop-rock influences, the song quickly became a standout in her catalog for its emotional resonance and storytelling.
In March 2026, she revisited the song with an acoustic release, offering a more intimate and stripped-down interpretation that brings the vocal and narrative to the forefront. The acoustic version highlights the depth of the song’s message—centered on legacy, remembrance, and the enduring impact of family.
As her sound continues to evolve, Geryah is preparing to release a new body of work later in 2026. This upcoming project signals a deeper exploration of identity, vulnerability, and emotional honesty, expanding her artistic range while staying rooted in the storytelling and faith-driven themes that define her music.
With a growing audience and a trajectory that spans acoustic storytelling, country-pop, and inspirational music, Geryah Dingle continues to create songs that connect, uplift, and leave a lasting impact.
